ROMANA/CHAVON

A half day all included tour for those who don’t want
to spend the entire day away from their hotel and yet want
to experience the largest city of the 10th largest province
in the Dominican Republic. You will see its people, culture,
visit a cigar factory and shop for excellent rum and coffee
at local stores. Your tour also includes a visit to the famed
Altos de Chavon artist village. Morning and afternoon departures
are available for your convenience.
- Pick up at your hotel between 8 & 8:30am for morning departures
or 2 & 2:30 pm for afternoon tours. Travel in our comfortable air conditioned
buses with experienced drivers and bilingual guides.
- Visit a local market where you can purchase the excellent
Dominican rum, coffee, cocoa and cigars at great prices.
- Visit the La Romana Catholic Church in the center of town

City Santo Domingo.
This city showcases a fabulous display
of Colonial architecture from the first cathedral in the
New World to the Alcazar de Colon built by Columbus’ son
Diego in 1510. Strolling through the Colonial Quarters will
be a highlight of your visit.
This tour also features natural
attractions of Santo Domingo including areas beyond the city
center like: The stunning “Three Eyes” underground
caverns. Come and get captured by the history and grace of
the oldest city in The New World.
